ARTICLE V - ANNUAL ELECTION

Any person submitting a petition must also have a BCI background check completed and submitted to the board within 7 days prior to the swearing in at the September meeting at their expense. A committee selected by the board shall review the results of the background check to determine whether any criminal history disqualifies the petitioner. Failure to comply with this requirement shall render the candidate ineligible and the open position will then be filled by the board. Effective 12/1/2026.
Proposed Amendment will also be added to the Election ballot on August 30, 2026
