Sandusky County Agricultural Society's Scholarship

The Sandusky County Agricultural Society will be awarding $6,000 worth of scholarships again this year.  

 

The scholarships will be awarded to Sandusky County students who are/plan to attend a university or vocational-technical school in a course of study that will award an advanced degree or professional certification.

Criteria:

  • A Sandusky County resident (live, attend school or participate in a Junior Fair organization within Sandusky County).

  • Applicant must have been actively involved/participated in the Sandusky County Junior Fair or Open Class at the Sandusky County Fair for at least 4 years prior to applying for scholarship.

  • Applicant must be at least a senior in high school through a sophomore (2nd year) in college (Fall 2023 enrollment).

  • Have participated/contributed to the Sandusky County Fairgrounds Winter Wonderland in past years.

  • Previous award recipients are not eligible to apply.

The decision of the Scholarship Committee is final.  Recipients will be recognized at opening ceremony of the 2023 Sandusky County Fair (you or a representative must be present) on Monday, August 21st

​

Applications are due no later than 5:00 pm on July 15th.  Applications may be dropped off prior to deadline (in a sealed envelope) to the Sandusky County Fair Office; or postmarked by July 15th to: 901 Rawson Street, Fremont, Ohio  43420.
