In my eyes, the most important part of our fair is not the exciting experience of rides, great food, or fun activities to participate in, but the impact of junior fair opportunities on the youth in our community.  Our fair is such an amazing opportunity to teach the importance of agriculture and the lessons that come with being involved in 4H and FFA, like the responsibility of raising and showing animals.  As a junior fair participant, my goal was to leave a lasting impact on the incoming generation.  My greatest accomplishment at the fair was never a trophy, ribbon, or banner, but having a young girl say to me, "I want to be just like you some day."  in the words of John Quincy Adams, "if your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader."
